Are They My Destiny?

I know the real reason behind the episode where Koushiro searches for the 8th child and Hikari sees a shiny object in the sky that happens to be her digi vice. However, I tend to read between the lines and since I'm a huge Koukari fan, maybe there is another purpose? Perhaps it dawned on these two that maybe there is something more and they are now realizing it?
